Well after to weeks straight of a heavy feeling in my chest, I decided to go to the er. Not because I thought I was dying, but because I wanted to be taken a little more serious about how I was feeling. My BP goes crazy when I rise or change positions for some reason. If I am laying down or standing up I am fine. It is a strong pounding in my chest and throat area. Like I have just ran or something. Everything looked fine on the monitors, so I decided to get up and see if anything happens. Sure enough, the machine starts to beep(not because of cardiac arrest) the Dr. asked me to do it again when he came back in and it did it again. Yay! They finally believe me! He seemed concerned, asked a few more ?'s and took blood for blood clots. Scary, I didn't even think about that! They gave me some atenolol and told me to go see a cardiologist in the next week or 2. Funny thing is I have been through a bunch of previous tests and nothing. We just lost our insurance 2 months ago and now this. What are the odds? Keep your fingers crossed it's something meds can treat and nothing to serious. I know it's caused from the MIrena. Listen to any BC commercial. May cause stroke, heart attack. Thank goodness I took mine out before all of that! But not soon enough apparently, it did plenty of damage! Sorry so long!
