A mug of hot (not scalding of course) water helps me tremendously. I'm also on day 11, and my stomach has been getting unruly 2-3 times daily for the past couple of days- dull pain, cramps, but thankfully nothing severe in my case.
If you find yourself swallowing saliva a lot, try being conscious of whether you're also swallowing a little air at the same time. I've caught myself pumping my stomach full of air this way, and now I spit instead (if circumstances allow) or move my tongue back before swallowing, and try not to put down any air.
When my stomach gets grumpy, I drink about 3 measuring-cups worth of hottish (as Chris says) water fairly rapidly -not quite gulping it all down, but not just sipping it either. I drink my normal intake of room-temperature water in sips and take my time- but quieting an upset stomach I've gotten away with a "normal" speed of drinking. I also keep my torso elevated for a while after the warm-water treatment. Soon, my stomach empties (out the bottom end) and effectively reboots... which is a major relief.
