Re: Ozone in ear
Bad. Bad. Bad. Me bad. I hate saying, "I'll never do that again." Seems like a say that a lot. I shouldn't do it in the first place. I've got to focus more. I've been trained to focus intensely upon what I'm doing all my career.
I was doing the ozone ear insufflation holding a tube near my ear and with my face horizontal and nose slightly up; so the ozone falls somewhat back of my head. I had done this several times before. It works wonderfully for itching ear canals. No problem at all; except the tube, being so close to the eardrum, is quite loud. I'm mostly careful.
Boring. So I reached down for something; and in my ignorance, moved the tube down toward my nose and mouth. What was I thinking? Nothing obviously. Took a breath. Immediately, I thought I would never breathe again. Coughing was the natural but painful reaction. Breathing inward was nearly impossible without excruciating pain. A few minutes later, things were better.
I'll never do that again. I'll focus upon what I'm doing. Well, maybe.
