I worked with a man who told me an interesting story. He was a gruff man with a very angry personality that I would guess was merely social phobias, he was not a likeable person. But anyhow he told me that if I told this story to any other workers that he would deny it, I suspect to maintain his hard exterior. So he went on to tell me that he was delivering pizzas and went to a bad area. A couple of people attempted to rob him but hitting him in the back of the head with a cinder block, he said he died on the way to the hospital.

He told me "you know the love a mother has for her child?", I said yes. He went on "well this Love was a million times stronger than that mother's love".

I hope someone finds comfort in this story.
