I'm quite new into cheilitis diagnoses. I have only read about EC so far, and symptoms and everything seems to fit me very well. But now you mention CG and this raises question to whether I have been looking at the wrong diagnosis.
You mention no one can diagnose if it's EC or CG without a biopsy. This I'm sceptical about. There are probably hundreds of people here that think they have EC without having done a biopsy. You're saying all these individuals very well may have misdiagnosed themselves.
My thoughts are that there probably is possible to distinguish EC and CG without a biopsy (with a trained eye). Now someone needs to clarify the differences, so we all can be sure how to be hundred percent sure we have EC. The first step in getting treated is being sure of the diagnosis.
Probably I can find this out myself, but I'm interested in your feedbacks.
