Re: The Overlooked Cancer Cure From Japan (inositol hexaphosphate - IP6)

Bill Sardi is a real Gem & I wish I had his book. I'm going out to get some IP6 right now!

OK, I bought some. Not too pricey with this "Whole Foods Premier Formula" generic store-brand.

It features w/ calcium magnesium phytate, IP-6, and Inositol.

calcium magnesium phytate, and the IP-6 that comes from it, apparently comes from rice-bran.
Inositol comes from nuts and bran also, so it's probably not extracted from the massed-produced garbage-foods out there, unless of course, they've gotten to our rice without warning anyone, which is highly possible.

Unfortunately, like most crap you buy at drugstores and widely available outlets, it also has:
cellulose:
"For industrial use, cellulose is mainly obtained from wood pulp and cotton. It is mainly used to produce cardboard and pap" wikipedia
So, what is the source of the cellulose in this pill? Genetically-Modified-Organisms cotton from India that so many hundreds, if not thousands of farmers commit suicide over? The same stuff that is shown to kill cows in a documentary about the stuff?

stearic acid (vegetable source):
Could be animal based, could be soy based. SOY BASED!, or even Cotton!

magnesium stearate
from cotton-seed oil, probably the worst "food" oil.

modified cellulose
modified cellulose gum
Reminds me too much of modified corn-starch, but did not find much on these.

fractionated coconut oil
This looks OK. It might even be healthful. It does not appear to be a dangerous source of trans-fats, as was my first suspicion. "In addition to offering a replacement for trans-fats, the fractionated coconut oil may also confer some health benefits of its own, said the researchers. “These blends contained 47-52.3 per cent medium-chain fatty acids which are reported to have various health benefits,” they added."

that Splenda ad... not right

camauba wax
Wax from the leaves of a palm-tree. Doesnt sound that bad. Seems to be the shiny coating around the pill. Just give me the IP-6 in powder form. I dont need all the extra toxic crap. Appearances are not my thing. If I have CANCER, I could care less if the pill is shiny and cute. I want something that is pure and wont make things worse!

We need to seriously do a major boycot of all suppliments sold with this sort of crap, because it's really getting ridiculous. We all know the FDamnedA wont look out for us, so who will? I want some pure unadulturated supplements, and I do not want to have to order them online. Anyone know any good MLM guys around? Oh, right, they are all cons, right? LOL
