I know for a fact that my Chielitis and Fordyce's Spots started at the same time. The very first time I peeled the squares in the centre of my top lip you could make them out.

Sebum is the element in the skin which keeps it water-proof and elastic. Fordyce's Spots are misplaced sebaceous glands. There simply has to be a link... Tweet
