Re: liver cleanse and weight loss
I've heard that people who are overweight start losing weight after they flush and people who are nomally super skinny start gaining weight after flushing since the liver is able to do it's job effectively.
Why I think we initially lose weight--for me is because I don't get to digest food for 24 hours. I read that we aren't supposed to get hungry and I do. We start off that morning eating non-fat foods that the epson salts will eject from our bodies anyway. From then on, nothing stays in our system and I noticed that I can't hold down food until a few hours after my last drink of epson salts. I feel like I'm starving at that point. I feel weak and dizzy and lose whatever tiny bit of weight I had acquired since my previous flush, which is usually only a couple
pounds since I don't gain weight easily.
I really hope that my liver eventually does allow me to go back up to the height-weight appropriate range without a struggle. I used to force feed myself silly trying to gain weight. Now after reading Adreas Moritz' books, I realize what a bad idea that was. I was 5'3 and 80
pounds until I hit age 24 and put on 10
pounds and recently worked my way up to 105 pounds at 31 and then I started flushing and now I'm 95 pounds. Plus it's hard to gain weight on this alkaline diet I'm on. How I miss beef = ) It's been interesting fighting to gain weight in a world where everyone else wants to lose weight.
