Clotrimazole is NOT a steroid. It is an anti-fungal.

You can buy a cream that combines an anti-fungal and a steroid together, but Clotrimazole on its own does not have steroids in it.

We need to be very accurate and clear when dealing with a topic that desperate people turn to non-experts for help with, to make sure we are not spreading misinformation and causing needless fear.

This is why everyone needs to research every last fact and statement for herself/himself, before acting on some layperson's advice which may be fundamentally incorrect.
