Re: 6 months post removal and not feeling so great

I definitely think stress was a factor in the severity and onset of my original symptoms. I believe that Mirena screwed up my immune system so much that in combination with stress my body couldn't heal itself, my immune system got confused, and things just dominoed from there. Thinking back, a lot of my symptoms were milder and began much earlier than I had thought, but got very bad very quickly after a period of injury and acute emotional stress.

Lately I haven't had a lot of emotional or mental stress, but I have been spending a lot of time out with friends and not taking very good care of my body. I've noticed that even with Mirena inserted, my worst times usually followed a time when I was beginning to feel a little bit better and started to let loose a little more. This is so frustrating because after a year of feeling so bad, when I feel good, all I want to do is celebrate!

I was hoping by this time I would feel a lot better, and I do feel better, but it takes a lot more patience to get better than I could have imagined.
