I thought I was doing the "healthy" thing when I would spend $6.50 on a gallon of organic milk at the store. But we do not know what is in them, and I am so happy I found a farmer who delivers raw milk to me up to twice a week. His milk is certified organic and his cows are grass fed, and they graze and have lots of land. "Happy cows" he calls them.
I now have been drinking raw milk for over 3 months and absolutely love it. I don't know what the rules are in other states but in Minnesota you can get raw milk directly from the farmer. I get my raw milk here if anyone is interested and lives in Minnesota.
The thought of drinking regular milk now just makes me squeamish. I suppose this happens to everyone who tries the real stuff -- they just can't go back!
I do have to admit when I was out somewhere I had some chocolate milk that wasn't raw... but I LOVE chocolate milk (and making it with my raw milk is SO tasty!) but that was once in the last 3 months!!
