Question about oil pulling while on thyroid medicine

Hi, I am a newbie to this oil pulling. I plan to start oil pulling soon, but I found out that I must try to stop taking any medicine, in order to make oil pulling working effectively. I have been hypothyroid and taking a thyroid pill daily. I am unclear on this. Can anyone explain that? Is it okay/safe to do oil pulling while I am on thyroid medication? Thanks for help. Tweet
