Compeed patches

There was a post a while ago about Compeed cold sore patches being possibly helpful for small peeling areas. Has anyone tried these? What did you think? I ordered some from overseas (not available in the US) and think they help prevent a scab from forming. I don't know yet that it is a "cure" (doubt there is a cure!) but want to know your experiences. I cut mine in half and try I leave it on for 12 hours, but they come of when I brush my teeth. Tweet
