I agree with the reply you got. You must start off slowly, and b e good to yourself. Recognizing how your thoughts affect your emotional and physical state is a good first step. When you let your negative thought patterns take control much of your thinking it starts to physically get you down . You are spending your energy unwisely . It gets to be exhausting not only emotionally but physically, and you feel trapped. It takes practice to reprogram old thinking habits. You must do the work yourself, independently. Read and focus on your healing step b y step , and you will see results. Its like treating an addiction , you will have your withdrawals and might find your mind trying to sink back into the negative thinking but thats when you have to litterly stop yourself and change your focus, sing, read, help someone. Have fun with this , be your own
Science project. Everything is about choices. No matter what is going on around you. Its you who chooses how to react. many will throw circumstances that can throw you off balance emtionally , but don't give in to what they want. Choose differently , counteract it differently then how they want you to react.
I am too in the same process. I know how negative things can get. You are not alone, but you are taking the right steps to help yourself. I wish you all the luck.
