as he writes on his announcement, there is a huge EFT machine to manage, and that isn't the same as the joy of the actual sharing. I was suprised by the heart attack. Moreso, that he says he had no knowledge of having one. And it his his doctor's telling him-showing him proof that some part of the heart has died. This is a perfect metaphor for events that "take the heart out of one'. He's said openly, that there've been power struggles and some infighting...one can only imagine, with an email list of 450,000 or so.

I recall, in one of my favorite eft videos, (eft and tired blood; youtube) he says to the woman, after she tells him the medical name for her 'condition', "well, so that's what you're doing", and then corrects himself...

But he must have felt, "that's what I'm doing"--the heart issue. Once a person has had a heart attack, you have to reasess where your heart *is*. (Where your treasure truly lies) Whe something gets so big it's all about managing the fallout (and as he says , lots of American legal issues, ongoingly, as well as those in other languages...) well, this is not one's heart's joy anymore. And there are many others to carry on the essence of the work.

I find the last paragraph of his email announcement the most important part. And inspiring. It hardly sounds like the end of his life. EFT is not the end, it's only the beginning, (a child's toy to be discarded one day", I think he said) and he's ready now to learn the 'more':
the "palace of possibilities". I would imagine his family also has some vital role in this decision.
