Unexplained sore gums

I'm 20 years old and for at least ten years now, I continue to have a strange reaction with my gums that no doctor or dentist had been able to explain to me. Anytime I engage in any time of physical/vigorous activity, or even simply walking too fast, my gums in my lower arch (only in the area of my anterior teeth) become inflamed. They turn red, hurt and are sensitive to touch, and even the teeth even begin to feel sensitive. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this, or even experienced it themselves?
