Re: Circumcision!!??
I've had no other children to deal with or their questions. Depending how old they are I guess. Older ones you can be honest, young ones, I don't think they'll even notice. I'll tell you how I've dealt with my husband's request. While we were still in hospital after birth, he started telling me he wants baby to be circumcised. I've asked why. No religious reason, so that was out. He's brought up medical and hygenic reasons. With baby was nothing wrong, so I quickly ruled out medicals. As for hygenic reasons, I told him, when child old enough, he can teach him how to keep area clean. He has brought this subject up a few times, I did not argue, just calmly said no, no need. I made sure, I did not get into any kind of discussion, I am the mother, therefore I felt it is my right to decide against it. As time went past, husband gave in. So, if you don't want baby to be circumcised, say so, and no questions and discussion or arguments about it. I don't know, if this is the correct way to deal with it, but this is what I did, worked for me. There was no way I'd mutilate my son unnecessarily.
