Iron Deposits in the Brain
I'm posting this for a friend of a friend, hoping someone might have some ideas. This woman, I think late 40's, has had neurologic issues, shaking, etc. for years, not sure how far it goes back, but she was finally diagnosed on some fancy MRI when other tests missed it - a lot of iron deposits in her brain. They aren't sure whether chelation will help her in terms of whether the chelation agents can cross the blood-brain barrier, something like that.
I know this isn't much information, but I promised to ask around here on Curezone to see if anyone had some ideas or could point her in a good direction. She was actually admitted to a psych ward, signed in by her parents, shortly before this was discovered. I feel so bad for her.
Anyway, thoughts, links, whatever - would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
