Re: for those of you that work

I have left 4 jobs because I was so insecure and conscious about the way my lips looked.

I too believe that I was fired from a job because of my lips at one point. It was a customer facing role where you had to look presentable and polished. I recall one day my manager coming up to me and saying:

"Would you agree that being presentable helps customers feel more at ease ?"

I nodded and said "Ofcourse"

He then said, "I noticed you have had an ongoing problem with your lips looking excessively chapped and strangely is full of scabs. Have you perhaps gone to see a doctor about that?"

I informed him about EC and it being something of a mystery and there was no quick fix cure.

1 week and a half later I was made redundant. Sounds fishy to you ?... I sure did to me.
