Re: Curses?
Hi All!
Not quite sure how to respond here...
I wasn't speaking of being "cursed" ,
but more "the way" in which we are influenced
by what others say.
After I had my upper teeth replaced by a denture,
I lost 30 pounds. A co-worker inquired what was wrong,
saying I was "withering away".
This is an example of a very direct negative
statement(assault)which can be counter-acted immediately.
There are other, more subtle suggestions that may
by-pass our conscious mind, but are accepted by
the unconscious/subconscious.
I was curious about what actually occurred
during the visit to the medium.
I'm on mailing lists for psychic advice.
They usually open by telling me what a good
person I am. How I put others before myself.
yada yada...
Then they progress to the great good fortune
in store for me.
But wait! There is some danger!
Do you see what I'm getting at?
The psychological aspect of first opening you up...
so the seed can be planted.
I simply wanted to alert the original poster
to mentally review the time spent with the medium.
To back away from it emotionally and see if they could detect any such mental/emotional manipulations.
I did not intend to open a discussion on curses and demons.
