Happy Thanksgiving from Me to You and all My kitties

I would be remiss if I did not remember this day that Americans celebrate with joy and happiness. Let us all remember those who passed beyond our prescence this year also.

Precious, my darling girl, my life is so empty without you and I am not whole anymore.

Fluffy, My days are not happy since you went away.

Sammy, how dare she kill you, Allah will punish.

To the evil neighbor who is forcing Ren to get rid of her family, we wish the same for you.

My dear son, I miss you so much and hope you are well soon.

My dear sister, SamsSister is very sick and at the doctor right now, everyone say a prayer.

Lastly, my dearly departed husband, Mo. Not a day goes by where I dont' remember the fun and the laughter and the fun we had together. Thank you for the ring, I will never forget you ever.

Love is eternal and only when Allah decides, can best friends ever be separated. Friends who love you for the worst and the best. Friends who defend you and stand up for you. Friends who share your weak days and still says to you, "I will never leave you, you may leave me, but I will never leave you."

That was one Precious said too. She loves her mom so much too. So on this day of giving thanks let me say thanks to Allah for allowing me to be a part of the lives of the ones I chose to love and cherish.

"MY GOD THAT WOULD BE ALL OF YOU."

MAY ALLAH GRANT YOU HEALTH, WEALTH AND LOTS OF TURKEY ON THIS DAY.

BY THE WAY, I AM HAVING TURKEY TOO.

SARA

Patient of labour when the end was rest,
Indulged the day that housed their annual grain,
With feasts, and off'rings, and a thankful strain.

When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more,
And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before.

~John Greenleaf Whittier

The funny thing about Thanksgiving, or any huge meal, is that you spend 12 hours shopping for it and then chopping and cooking and braising and blanching. Then it takes 20 minutes to eat it and everybody sort of sits around in a food coma, and then it takes four hours to clean it up. ~Ted Allen

Thanksgiving Day, a function which originated in New England two or three centuries ago when those people recognized that they really had something to be thankful for - annually, not oftener - if they had succeeded in exterminating their neighbors, the Indians, during the previous twelve months instead of getting exterminated by their neighbors, the Indians. Thanksgiving Day became a habit, for the reason that in the course of time, as the years drifted on, it was perceived that the exterminating had ceased to be mutual and was all on the white man's side, consequently on the Lord's side; hence it was proper to thank the Lord for it and extend the usual annual compliments. ~Mark Twain
