Thanks Wommie!  I saw most of those, including the ones where the iodine rats only got cancer 30% of the time versus the 70+ percent in the non-iodine rats, but I also saw one where there was a 100% versus 0% cancer rate in rodents not given iodine and ones given iodine which were then given a cancer causing agent.  Maybe it was a limited study or perhaps they used a very strong carcinogen that iodine is particularly effective against, but I know I saw it.
