Big research on cannabis and Alzheimer's

The big field developing in medicine today is on inflammation. Cannabis has something to offer in this area for sure as IBS, Crohn's Disease, colitus, and Arthritis are all diseases you can get a doctor's recommendation for in California. A study in the last six weeks announced that research indicated that inflammation of the liver triggered diabetes. CRP and inflammation knowledge are more important than cholesterol in predicting the likelihood of an impending heart attack. Now this study says cannabis can help in the fight to reduce the harms of Alzheimer's on the populace and that it fights an unwanted inflammation in the brain.

The research is important, but it is important that it went up at the #682 website on the Internet, WebMD- http://my.webmd.com/content/Article/101/106061.htm If that link goes down both pages are available for viewing here- http://tinyurl.com/4o5mk

This really is a big announcement out of research in Spain. Maybe somebody knows a more appropriate place for news here at CureZone. I would put it in a cannabis forum, but I cannot find one.

[b]Another interesting result also surfaced. The cannabinoids completely
prevented activation of cells that trigger inflammation. These cells
gather near plaque and are believed to be involved in the development of
Alzheimer's disease.

"Our results indicate that cannabinoid receptors are important in the
pathology of Alzheimer's disease and that cannabinoids succeed in
preventing the neurodegenerative process occurring in the disease,"
write the researchers in the journal.
