From what I understand, starting menses early usually means a later menopause. Also, throughout my late 20s and early 30s I had mittenschmertz (the pain with ovulation) and clear discharge. I don't think it's abnormal, but something gynos tell you to use to track fertility. (I'm 35 now - got Mirena a year ago and had it for 10months). I don't know about the blood, but I've read on various boards that lots of women have bleeding with ovulation, particularly if theirs is a longer cycle. It's caused by the drop off in estrogen at ovulation.
