Is it possible to re-mineralize teeth?

Hi there! I normally go to the dentist about 1 time per year for a cleaning, but I am getting really scared to go and may not go again. Everytime I go I have to deal with the pressure that they put on me to remove my wisdom teeth (no thanks, I think they should stay!) and fight them on x-rays (I'll pass on the radiation, please), and explain why I don't want my kids' teeth bathed in a flouride "treatment."

It's a pretty unpleasant experience and now I have some sensitive areas on my teeth where I am presumably losing enamel. I just know they are going to hurt me and then say it is my own fault for being so dentally negligent!

Anyways, the point of this long rant is to ask if there is a way to rebuild the enamel on teeth? I don't want to get cavities or any other condition where I have to go back to these people and rely on their horrible methods.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thank you!
