Re: Colloidal Silver & ponds - before & after pics.

Thanks DQ, I shall be googling those. I had heard of CS liquid being used in pools before, but not that.
I found out some stats. The pool / pond is 140,000 litres when full - although its about 3 quarters full currently. Its not been touched though for 10 years, so the algae was well established!
There are tiny amounts of algae that surface here and there and some lives on the side of the pool / pond too. But we want some because it is a pond now and we feel its part of the natural order of things - and its very managable now so its welcome to be there. We have added fish and they seem to like munching it.
I wonder if Id added more CS if all the algae would all go completely or if it has just bought everything back to a harmonious level? Or is there different types of algae in the pond algae and some survive?
One last thing for anyone that may try this. On day 3 afternoon, a lot of what appeared to be large clumps of dead algae surfaced which was a bit alarming. I fished out what I could with a sive but worried that it would be worse the next day. On day 4 though it had all disappeared again and apart from the odd lump, hasnt returned. I suspect that the hot afternoon sun brings some of the lumps up.
Ill update again if there are any major changes.
