I like your research style, wgb, you are focused, cool, and committed, you're willing to rule things out one by one and attack this at a broad spectrum instead of half-assedly -- and you haven't reached the desperation point which is nice to see -- yes, we don't have insurance and must (gasp!) be our own doctors to our peril, but think of all the people with insurance who blindly medicate because of faith in the health care system and their prescriptions, for say Accutane for acne, which leads to this condition in some cases. Also, there's no money in treating our condition, it's cosmetic so insurance companies wouldn't pay, therefore why would the medical-industrial complex ever proactively respond to such a rare -osis. Maybe if we got IN THEIR FACE about it! Heh heh.

That said, there may be a cream or drug that can help, but you also have to study the inactive ingredients and production process of the carrying agent or untested affects on the internal organs (if they are topical).
