i have similar experiences where i live -- one of the more heartwarming is the bacon and eggs smell on sunday mornings --

i dont think of them as ghosts or spirits -- i think they are different space/times in the house bleeding thru into my now. I think of them as part of the past but I suppose they cld be alternate presents as well. My own ability to sense things beyond the physical may make me more sensitive to them.

The house had only one previous owner and they built the house. They lived here many years and the sounds (and smells) all seem to relate the life they may have lived here.

I think the area that the house is built on is very special in a metaphysical way. I've seen a single barefoot print in the snow and one in my garage, a bear (or sasquatch? print in the snow), and I have what some call fairy circles in my grass.

an interesting story from an friend of mine -- once when she was meditating her room disappeared around her and she found herself in a wooded area with two amerIndian men in the immediate vicinity. She cld see/hear them and they evidently cld see/hear her. She freaked out and all went back to her "normal" environment. Tweet
