Re: Breaking a fast without breaking a fast

In regards to your fasting on the Sabbath question, this is definitely a question that you should be asking God. It is so much easier to hear God's voice when you are fasting. I'm sure if you pray and ask him sincerely He will tell you what He wants you to do. I have found prayer with fasting very powerful in my own life. When I am going through something and I need answered prayer I have found that if I fast and pray it is much easier to get an answer. This is really not a question that anyone on the forum can answer for you. Fasting without prayer is a waste. Oh yes, we may get some physical benefits, but why waste what else you could be benefiting from. Most of us have needs so why not take advantage of fasting with prayer for problems in life or as in your case direction as to what you should do. Also, as much as possible, keep the fast in secret that you may be rewarded openly by God.
