Re: Acceptance of Liver Flushing by the Medical profession
Interestingly enough, I was at my doctor's office yesterday. After my exam, I told him about my liver flush, how I prepared for it, the OO/GFJ mix, what it is intended to do and what actually came out (pea stones, worms, old stones, etc...).
Well, he said in his blah-bi-di-blah years of experience in the medical profession he never heard of liver flushing, and basically scoffed at the idea; quoting him, he said "You didn't flush anything out." When I asked him to how to account for what the flush produced, he babbled about it being residues of the OO/GFC mix and GI chemistry. He was a pretty much a jerk about it.
The thing is, I know he's wrong. My GI tract was 100% empty; I had real bad diareah from the
Epsom Salts (+/- 8 large water BM's prior to drinking the mixture - it felt like I lost a gallon of water).
I also told him there was a 400 point drop in my triglyceride level without medication after the flush - he couldn't explain this, and without scientific proof wouldn't accept that the flush was responsible. Bottom line is the medical community wants scientific proof, but no one wants to undertake the scientific research. Until them, they'll keep writing perscriptions.
