Water Fast - Day 2 & 3 are hard! I can tell you what I do for fasting, both for the hunger and the energy.

Water Fasting is probably the best way, but I've always broken the fast because I don't have enough energy to do what I need to do - at the least I need mental energy to work and I have 2 classes besides. So when I'm very low or when the hunger is difficult in the first few days, I do a juice fast using
The Master Cleanse lemonade recipe. It is great for you. I know, I'm not talking water only, but this way I can fast for 2 weeks. I like to do days of water only when I can, but I never have a time just to rest for weeks on end so this is my solutionn. I find fasting on the lemonade infinitely easier for hunger and a juice fast is better than no fast - its is still very cleansing. Just my 2 cents.
Maybe someone has better suggestions than I if you're committed to water only. This week I did Day 1 - water. Day 2 - lemonade. Today is Day 3 - water so far. I have enough energy to go without the lemonade, but I'm in the same boat you're in. Tummy is talking and I feel hungry!
