Re: Why do docs neverthink the mirena is to blame?

Did they rule out an ovarian cyst? (A common side effect) Why in heavens name would you have to wait for a swab if they think you might have an infection? How awful. Are you running a fever? I'm baffled as to why all doctors seem to tell women the same thing: there are no side effects and the hormone stays in your uterus. Lies. All I can figure out is that the drug reps from the Mirena company tell this to the doctors and the doctors don't bother to read the literature. I hope you get some answers soon.
