i have a friend and she suffers of asthna,and always have runny nose and eat (always)junk/fast food. I used the ph teste before a bad lunch(JUNK FOOD) and the color was almost purple that means high alkaline livel. Don't understand somebody can explain me why.......

Simple. Acidity and alkalinity has nothing to do with asthma. Asthma is an inflammatory allergic condition. It needs to be addressed through the adrenals to build back up proper levels of epinephrine and corticosteroids. Magnesium supplementation with either magnesium malate or citrate can also help by acting as a natural calcium channel blocker. In other words the magnesium pushes calcium out of muscle fibers such as the muscles in the lungs allowing the bronchioles to relax.

And urine pH does not reflect blood pH. Blood pH is almost always kept in a very narrow range as becoming too acidic or too alkaline can lead to death. Therefore the body has a number of methods to maintain proper blood pH. Urinary excretion of hydrogen ions in one way, but not a primary one. Breathing rate is one of the primary methods of pH regulation.
