coming off levadopa

Can anyone advise how to come of levadop drug madopar. My friend has been wrongly diagnosed with parkinsons and is struggling to come off it. More recently he had been feeling sick and become very depressed. I have advised Iodine and selenium supplements (I think its lymes)- definitely lives around ticks and was exposed to pesticides (sheep dip), he is now after only 2 days on supplements reporting that sickness has gone. However, not sure how to advise regarding eliminating Madopar. Would be really grateful for further advice. Hope someone can help...Thanks
