The gold-wedding band remedy looks interesting, but what I wonder is, as with most such remedies, is it just halting the body's elimination pathway, or is it stopping some microbe-battle with the immune system that the body could not control, or is it cleaning dirt from the body that should have been washed away as a part of keeping clean, and the body was having a reaction to the dirt, perhaps clogging an elimination pathway.
