Didn't see any more red liver flukes this morning, and was starting to wonder whether they were actually bits of tomato I had eaten the night before. I don't think so, cos the red bits I passed were really small, and I'd eaten the big tomato, not the cherry ones. And then, I also read somewhere else that old, dead liver flukes could be black in colour, rubbery in texture and look like short threads (actually they look like a small clump to me), so maybe the black stuff I've seen are the old flukes. Will need to see more to know for sure!
By the way, what are your sanitizing protocol when you've inspected your poos, or just after having a BM? If the parasites come out dead, do we need to do more than to flush?
