I got this after taking Accutane. The dermatologists I've seen refuse to believe me, saying the side effects wear off after you stop taking the pills. When I asked them to venture a guess on how I could possibly reverse the effects, none could/would.

Question for others who got this after Accutane:
Are you lips deep red? Is the skin around your lips irritated as well? Did your lips get gradually worse over a period of months/years or did this condition just appear?

I feel like my condition is different than most of the pictures I've seen here... I could almost tolerate peeling/dryness if my lips looked pink and the skin underneath my lips wasn't dark red.
