Fever (Julia's Liver flush)

Hi All,

I've tried 5 clark's flushes without any success and switched to Julia chang's alternative Liver Flush i.e fasting on apple juice for two days (two cups every two hours from 8 to 8) and then oliveoil+lemon juice at 8:30 on the second day. I've done two of these and met with success. But each time on day 1 (about 7PM), I had fever and headache. I shivered and my teeth chattered - grabbed a few blankets and turned the heating on to keep myself warm. It went away the next morning and i continued with the fast.

My question is why do i experience this problem on day 1.
