Size of the gallstone VS. size of the bile duct

Hello,

Unfortunatelly I have a Gallstones in my gallbladder and I was told to do a surgery :-( Then I heard about this liver/gallbladder flush and I am interested in doing so instead., but I have read many cases and still have a dilema about this.

I have read testimonials (and saw pictures) of a liver/gallbladder flush with stones so huge (3 cm / 1.18 inch) that looks impossible to pass through the bile duct. That is my biggest concern - if a gallstone stucks and I have to do an emergency more complicated surgery.

My Gallstones are 8 mm (0.31 inch) wide, I have several like that. Most people have a common bile duct diameter of around 5 mm (0.19 inch) as I heard. None of this needs to be exact, but it is a common sense that if a gallstone is bigger than a bile duct - it will stuck, right? Maybe Epsom Salt or oil makes bile duct bigger, but nobody says how much? When is better to do a surgery instead of a flush/cleanse?

Please advice me.

Thank you.
