I had a reaction to the flu shot

Although I'm on Remicade, so already immune-compromised, I thought I'd document the reaction I had to the flu shot (regular, not swine flu shot). It involved having my mild/moderate joint pain turning severe several hours after receiving the shot, and an infected red "bruise" that hurt around the site of the shot. This lasted 3 days and started going away on the 4th day. My naturopathic doctor speculated that the mercury/formaldehyde in the shot may have decreased my immune system. She gave me Serra-Pro, which helped with the joint pain, and a homeopathic remedy to help remove mercury. She recommended that next year I try homeopathic flu prevention.
