Polycystic Kidneys???

I don't know if i am posting this in the right place, but I didn't see any forums on kidneys (knowing me I overlooked it :) )... My father has been rxd with Polycystic Kidney Disease... Would any kind of cleanse help this? I know it is a genetic issue. I thought I had heard of PCOS being cleared up by cleanses so I was asking on this now.
