Tomatoes in a anti cancer diet?

Hi,

In an attempt to find a diet that my dog will enjoy eating,
I am thinking about making a meaty tomato soup that I can put in the numerous herbs and vegitables I use for her cancer. She will not eat cottage cheese but I am having success with her tumor slowly shrinking. I know that I have to avoid sugars and I wonder if tomato soup will be counter productive?
