Does p and b shakes alter birth control methods??

PTree or any other, will you please help on this? Does the Bentonite in the shakes or the psyillium alter the affectiveness of any birth control methods like the pill or the jelly? Robert Gray in his cleansing handbook mentioned this. He also said it will alter menstruation. I noticed my period is over a week late. I just started the p and b shakes two weeks ago.
