Since you posted this question a month ago, I'm sure you're past the crisis - however, for those who face this same problem, the best think you can do for your constipation while nursing is to bring more live foods and fresh juices into your diet. This will help you and the baby. Fresh apple juice is one that most people enjoy and will help to get the bowels moving. As far as the LBB goes, you have to watch how the baby reacts. If you are causing the baby to have diarrhea, then you need to go back to the foods and juices. Laying the baby naked in front of a window with the sun coming in, giving him lots of fluids (nursing on demand) and, even possibly taking a liver/gallbladder formula yourself will all help to clear up the jaundice.
