Medecation and cleansing

Hi everyone,
I have a question concerning taking of a perscription thyroid med while on a master cleanse. I know this is the bowel forum, and i have also posted on the specific Master-Cleanse forum. It is a question for my sister who just started today and is on fasting day one. I didn't know how to advise on wether or not to take her thyroid meds.

I know there are alot of people here who have done the mc and maybe someone can help out.
My question is should she take it while on the fast (my instinct is no but I don't want to cause harm), or should she stop for the duration of the fast?

Since this is her first experience w/ cleansing of this nature, and she is doing it on my very positive experience with it-I want to help her out as much as possible. She has had alot of intestinal problems and I feel a successful cleanse would be of great benefit.

Ok so that's all, thank you for any help or input you might have. Hopefully someone will have some info soon because she was supposed to take her medecation this morning and hasn't yet.
