Re: Coffee colonic contraindications?
I disagree with the article that a
coffee enema has no benefit. The one thing they point out that does have merit is electrolyte imbalance which can happen if one does too many of any type of enema in one day. Overdoing anything is not good. Proper research on staying hydrated and replenishing minerals as well as beneficial bacteria is crucial to any detox program, especially detox enemas. The website wants to promote their product, which I don't have a problem with but they should not slam the use of
coffee enemas just to promote what they are selling.
coffee enemas were part of the Merck Manual until the 1970's when someone probably figured out that people could actually help themselves without the use of drugs or surgery and that would be detrimental to the doctors and their future earnings so they decided to remove it.
I have done herbal colon, kidney and
Liver Cleanses as well as taking herbs for the liver to no avail. It was only when I began daily
coffee enemas for a couple of months that the eczema on my skin has cleared 80%, I have no more itching, my stomach is no longer upset from certain foods and the constant headaches I had for 35 years is finally gone without pills. I was dilligent in staying hydrated with water and
Sea Salt , adding minerals and taking probiotics.
I don't believe everything is for everybody, especially enemas, but I would not hesitate to try something to see if there are benefits.
