this is true. you are making your heart deal with the bromide stored in and around it by not taking enough iodine, or i should say, by taking too little.

one more analogy.

in conventional war there is a "front", the battle line on which each army has its own side. you are sending enough troops tot he line to keep the other army from invading but not enough troops to defeat the other army and win the war. as long as you keep doing that, you will keep losing troops and forever be at war.

this is the most probable theory but not the only one. you could simply be dehydrated. or you could have an electrolyte imbalance like sodium to potassium. you could try the Water Cure or supping potassium or doing salt pushes. but even then, if one of those works, you are not taking enough Iodine anyway.

and please, for gods sake and yours, dont do anything on my say so alone. if you cant wrap your head around it so that it makes sense to you, you should not do it, which calls into question your Iodine supplementation to begin with. thats just the way it is.
