YOu CAN make your own apple cider by putting them thru a juicer. Unless you have an apple press like they do at the orchards, it might be a hard thing to do as it takes a long time to get much.
In my state, I went to the apple orchard and asked if they would sell it to me unpasteurized. They wouldn't, because "the law" says it has to be pasteurized in order for them to sell it. It spoils very quickly if it isn't pasteurized. I've used the pasteurized from local orchards from and local supermarkets. It has worked all right. I think maybe that's what we can get. Tweet
