Fordyce Spots

if you have fordyce spots on your lips. do not put any chapstick over them or smother them in vasaline or anything. just leave them alone and keep them dry cuz they will heal if you leave them dry and the skin where the fordyce spots were will kinda be hard and but dont touch that either, it will eventually go away and the skin will flake off. i have fordyce spots a few times and once i put chapstick on them and they spread and they were really red and my lips looked gross. i was really embarrassed. i just let them dry and let them heal on their own and they went away. i was reading another message someone on here wrote about fordyce spots and they said they used a cream that worked for them. i guess if the cream is prescribed by a doctor then you should use it but anything else, i would say don't! maybe if your lips are really dry then just dab a little chapstick but don't irritate the spots.
