Re: Vitamin D recommendations don’t prevent elderly falls: Meta-analysis

Thank you peggyaus,

Vitamin D seems to be becoming the miracle nutrient, but only because of its widespread deficiency in most, and the paltry RDA by the "Nutritional Authorities".
These authorities are mainly concerned with preventing rickets, or in the case of Vitamin C, scurvy, but does not take into account the "ideal" or "optimum" quantities of nutrients such as these in the prevention of more serious diseases.

I have posted much here on the role of Vitamin D, and more recently posts from DQ and LuellaMay have highlighted its vital importance.
Never trust a Nutritional authority unless they come from alternative and or breakaway sources such as: Cedric Garland and Dr John Cannell MD including Orthomolecular sources.

Thanks for your input once again.

Take care.
